Found only near Mt Kinabalu in Sabah Borneo in hill and montane forests low down on tree trunks at elevations of 700 to 2100 meters as a small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with clustered, porrect or slightly curved, stems carrying many variable in size, disitichous, narrowly elliptic, oblong-elliptic or ovate-elliptic, obtuse and unequally bilobed, basally clasping leaves that blooms all year on a terminal, .6 to 1.2" [1.5 to 2.8cm] long, densely many flowered, capituliform inflorescence with ovate-oblong, truncate, mucronate, crisped, erose, membraneous, 3 nerved, transluscent, pale green floral bracts.
