Found in the Philippines along streams at elevations of 400 to 1300 meters as a large sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with rigid, flattened stems carrying 2 ranked, oblong-elliptic, leathery, shortly pointed apically leaves that blooms in the mid spring through early summer on a racemose, axillary, mostly towards the apex, long-peduncled, successively few flowered inflorescence
