Found in southern Taiwan and northern Philippines in forests at elevations of 200 to 400 meters as a medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with an ascending stem enveloped completely by tubular leaf sheaths and carrying many, distichous, lanceolate-oblong, acuminate, obliquely bilobed apically leaves that blooms at any time of the year on a terminal or lateral, .2 to .8" [.5 to 2 cm] long, to 10 flowered inflorescence with ovate floral bracts.
