Common Name The Shining Appendicula [refers to the leaves]

Found in penninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo mostly by rivers in hill forests at elevations of 500 to 1100 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with stems enveloped completely by imbricating leaf bearing sheaths carrying almost triangular, at right angles to the stem, shortly and unequally bilobed apically, narrowing below into the leaf bearing sheaths, leaves that blooms on both terminal and lateral, axillary, thin, freely branching, .28" [7 mm] long, 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence.
