Found in the Bismarck archipelago and the Solomon Islands at elevations around 600 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with a very short rhizome giving rise to simple, strict to substrict, terete, densely leafy stems carrying erect-patent, lanceolate to elliptic lanceolate, acute, minutely cut apically with a stetiform apicule leaves that blooms in the early winter on a terminal, elongate, to 3.2" [8 cm] long, sublaxly many flowered inflorescence with reflexed, lanceolate, acute, glabrous much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
