Common Name or Meaning The Podochilus-Like Appendicula
Flower Size .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm]
Found in northern Sumatra in primary forests at elevations around 1300 meters as a small to just medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with numerous, in simple bundles, terete, leafy throughout stems carrying 2 ranked, sessile, ovate, obtuse, shortly and obtusely bilobed apically with a spike between the lobes, basally clasping leaves that blooms on terminal to axillary, short, successively to 20 flowered inflorescence with persistent, refelexed, triangular to ovate-triangular, fleshy floral bracts.
CAUTION I have no way of personally verifying this determination so please use with caution. It does match fairly well the written description by Comber but I have seen no drawings of this species.
