Found in Java in moist forests on tree trunks, rocks and damp banks at elevations of 800 to 1000 meteres as a warm growing epiphyte with pendulous, creeping, basally rooting, freely branching at mid stems carrying 10, apiculate, smaller on side branches, basally twisted, all in one plane leaves held at a 45 degree angle to the stem that blooms in the summer on a terminal and lateral, successively single flowered inflorecence
