Common Name or Meaning The Mount Tembuyuken Appendicula [A mountain in Sabah Borneo near Mt Kinabalu]

Flower Size .24" [6 mm] long

Found in Sabah Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations around 1600 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with clustered, erect,, simple leafy stems carrying linear-ligulate, minutely obliquely unequally bilobed, with a spike in between, 3 main nerved leaves taht blooms in the late winter through summer on a lateral, pendulous, peduncle .2 to .24" [5 to 6 mm] long, arcuate, enveloped by 4, imbricate sheaths, rachis .48" to .6" [1.2 to 1.5 cm] long, decurved, to 16 flowered inflorescence with oblong, obtuse, slightly concave, reflexed floral bracts.

CAUTION!~!!!!!~~~@!@@!!The photo above was photographed in the Philippines and although similar to A tembuyukensis it differs in the lack of an apical wart to the lip and the reddish rachis and floral bracts and therefore most likely is another species, I await better information! Please use with caution!!!!.
