Common Name or Meaning The Long-Sepaled Arachnis
Flower Size 2" [5 cm]
Found in northern Borneo in hill forests in shade low down on tree trunks at elevations of 600 to 800 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with a branching stem enveloped completely by old leafless gray, or new green sheaths with the new ones being articulated to the ligulate, unequally, obtusely bilobed apically, coriaceous leaves that blooms in the late winter on a few branched, axillary, laxly few flowered, to 20 3/4" [52 cm] long inflorescence with ovate, obtuse floral bracts and carrying unscented flowers
