Common Name Corinne's Arthrochilus - The Swamp Elbow Orchid
Flower Size .37 to .56" [.9 to 1.4 cm]
Found in Queensland Australia in forest, woodlands and heathlands at elevations of 20 to 100 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing terrestrial with an ovoid tuber giving rise to 2 different growths, one a rosette of 3 to 5, bluish green, elliptic, acute leaves and another with just a wiry, leafless stem with one sheathing bract giving rise in the later spring through summer to an erect, 6 to 12" [15 to 30 cm] long, 3 to 12 flowered inflorescence
