Flower Size .6 to 1" [1.5 to 2.5 cm]
Found in Northern Territory Australia on sandstone escarpments on sheltered slopes near streams in monsoon forests at elevations of 50 to 300 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, hot growing terrestrial with an ovoid tuber giving rise to 2 different growths, one a rosette of 2 to 4, green, broadly elliptic, acute leaves and another with just a wiry, leafless stem with one sheathing bract giving rise in the spring through early summer to an erect, 4 to 12" [10 to 30 cm] long, 3 to 15 flowered inflorescence
