Common Name or Meaning The Notched Ascochilus
Flower Size .2 to .3" [5 to 8 mm]
Found in Sarawak, Borneo, Java and Sumatra in lowlands on steep limestone slopes at elevations of 10 to 1400 meters on thin tree trunks as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a short, sometimes basally branching, erect stem carrying several, light green, unequally bilobed leaves that blooms in the late spring and early winter on a hairy peduncel, 4" [10 cm] long, successively 1 to 3, to 15 flowered inflorescence.
