Common Name The Mouse-Tail Like Aschochilopsis [refers to the appearance of the swollen rhachis of the inflorescence]

Found in penninsular Malaysia and Thailand as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with branching stems carrying up to 10, apical, narrow, unequally bilobed, basally gradually narrowing leaves that blooms in the spring on a 1 to 2" [2.5 to 5 cm] long, fleshy, apically thick inflorescence with the short-lived, close set, resupinate flowers arising from the hollows in the swollen rhachis with 1 to 4 open at any one time.
