Common Name The Island Ascocentrum

Found on Maratua island to the east of Kalimantan Borneo at elevations around sea level as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a monopodial stem carrying distichous, linear, apically erose leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, 4" [10 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence
