Found in Venezuela and Ecuador at elevations around 400 to 1095 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial orchid with a decumbent, becoming erect stem carrying above the middle, 4 to 6, elliptic, acute, petiolate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 3 [7.5 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, longly acuminate, concave, sparsely ciliate floral bracts
