This Sao Paulo state, Brazilian, warm to cool growing, mini-miniature sized epiphyte in very wet, primary forests and has an erect ramicaul carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, light green, subulate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, 3" [7 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence that is held above the leaves and occurs in the spring.
