Common Name Cogniaux's Barbosella [French Botanist 1800's early 1900's]

Found in Sao Paulo state of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte in very wet, primary forests with an erect ramicaul carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, light green, subulate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 3" [7 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence that is held above the leaves.
