Common Name The Mexican Beloglottis

Flower Size .08" [2 mm]

Found in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua at elevations around 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with thick fleshy roots giving rise to basal, elliptic, subacuminate, gradually narrowing below into the canaliculate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the early fall on an erect, terminal, glabrous below, pubescent above, somewhat purple, provided with a few inflated sheathing bracts, to 8.4" to [21 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with externally pubescent, a bit longer than the ovary floral bracts.
