Found in Reunion as a small to medium sized terrestrial with 2 to 3, linear, well spaced and grading smaller up the stem, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a terminal erect, several flowered inflorescence with much longer than the swollen ovary floral bracts.
