Common Name or Meaning The Large Bifrenaria

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in central Bolivia on steep slopes on large trees at elevations around 480 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with clustered, sulcate, dark green, ovoid to round pseudobulbs carrying a single, plicate, elliptic, acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, arched, racemose, to 10" [25 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
