Common Name The Back Bent Bletia
Flower Size 3" [7.5 cm]
Found in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Panama on rocky or grassy hillsides in oak or oak-pine forests at elevations of 1200 to 2500 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with small pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, plicate, folded, narrowly to broadly lanceolate, long, acuminate leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on a basal, 3 1/2' [105 cm] long, 2 to 12 flowered, racemose inflorescence carrying long-lived flowers
