Common Name The Slim Leaved Bletia
Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador on sandstone and rarely granite outcrops at elevations around 250 to 1900 meters as a small to just medium sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with subterranean pseudobulbs giving rise to fasciculate, few, erect, linear, elongate-acuminate, narrowing below into the narrow petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late summer and fall on an erect, graceful, to 12" [to 30 cm] long, successively, laxly few to several flowered inflorescence.
