Found in Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam at elevations around 700 meters as a mniature sized, pendant, hot growing epiphyte with a pendulous rhizome carrying close set, adpressed to the rhizome, oblong, rugose with age, laterally flatteened pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, gradually narrowing at the acute apex as well as below into the twisted, short, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, very short, single flowered inflorescence and holding the flower to the base of the leaf
