Common Name or Meaning Afzel's Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Madagascar in humid evergreen forests on white sand at elevations around 800 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a readily branching rhizome with .4" [1 cm] between each ovoid pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, linear-lanceolate leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, setiform, 2.4" [6 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a small flower.
