Found in Sulawesi in elfin forests at elevations of 1000 to 1700 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a pendulous, rather frequently branching rhizome giving rise to cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, elliptic to ovate, subacute to acute, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, porrect, [.9 to 2.3 cm] long, 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence
CAUTION I am not convinced that this is the species intended because the references state that it has 2 to 6 flowers and this one has several more than that.
