Common Name The Angle-Carrying Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found only in Borneo in high and wet lower and upper montane forests at elevations of 1500 to 2400 meters in high and wet montane forests to dry, low and open scrubby montane forests in very exposed positions as a miniature size, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ellipsoid, somewhat flattened pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, rather thick, ovate to elliptic, light to medium green leaf that is conduplicate below into the petiole and blooms in the spring, summer and fall in situ in Borneo on a basal, 1 to 2" [2.5 to 5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular floral bracts and large flowers for the size of the plant.
