Common Name or Meaning The Narrowly Ovate Leaf Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 1/4" [6 mm]

Found only in Thailand as a miniature sized, warm growing with a pendant rhizome rooting at the base giving rise to close set, adpressed to the rhizome, cylindrical, curved, apically tapering pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, narrowly ovate, acute, abruptly narrowing below into the sessile, clasping base leaf that blooms in the mid winter on a from the rhizome, short, single flowered inflorescence completely enveloped by sheaths.
