Found in Madagascar in mossy montane forests at elevations around 1700 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with 2.4 to 4" [6 to 10 cm ] between each ellipsoid to ovoid pseudobulb and carrying 2, apical, erect, ligulate leaves that blooms in the summer through fall on an erect, 4.2 to 5.8" [10.5 to 14.5 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with the flowers held in an apical, cylindrical corymb
