Found in western New Guinea in lower montane forests at elevations around 750 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with a rhizome giving rise to close together, conical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, oblong, lanceolate, thin coriaceous, apex shortly narrowed, midrib hardly distinct, narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms on several from the base of a pseudobulb, close together, sessile, .2" [.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence. with several, lanceolate, cuspidate, shorter than the ovry floral bracts and carrying yellowish flowers with a purple or brownish lip with a yellow tip.
