Found in Sarawak Borneo on trees in montane forests at unknown elevations as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with clustered, largely prostrate on and fused to the rhizome, ovoid to spheroid to lenticular pseudobulbs arising from halfway up the previous pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to ovate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect to patent, .32" [.8 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular, acute floral bracts
