Common Name The Black Purple Bulbophyllum
Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]
Found in southeastern Brazil at elevations of 300 meters in cloud forests as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with .4" [1 cm] between each, conical, 4-angled psuedobulb and carrying a single, apical, stiff, light green, linear-lanceolate leaf that blooms in the fall in Brazil on a basal, stiff, fine, purple, 7.2" [18 cm] long, erect to arching, then at right angles at rachis, several to many flowered inflorescence.
