Common Name The Yellow and Brown Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .4 [1 cm]

Found in New Guinea on trees in montane forests at elevations of 1000 to 1100 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with close set, narrow, subcylindric psuedobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, linear, acute leaf that blooms in the fall and spring on a glabrous, few bracted, single flowered inflorescence.

I am making this determination acccording to Schlechter's 1913 drawing, it came in as B auriculatum, not, so use with caution. It agrees to a point but not enough to be sure.
