Common Name The Golden Yellow Bulbophyllum [refers to the flowers]

Flower Size .32 to .36" [8 to 9 cm]

Found in western Sumatra at elevations around 1300 to 1700 meters as a small sized, cool growing, epiphyte with 1.6" [4 cm] between each disc-shaped pseudobulb carrying a single, thick, tough, oblong, obtuse, abruptly narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on an erect, basal, peduncle 8"+ [20 cm +] long, rachis ribbed, 10" [25 cm] long, 18" [45 cm+] long overall, densely many flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers.
