Found in the Philippines on the Island of Bataan as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with 1.2" [3 cm] between each pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, elliptic-oblong, leathery, rigid, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on a single flowered, slender inflorescence carrying a fragrant flower and is similar to and often cited as a synonym of B lobbii.
