Found in Sabah Borneo in high montane forests at elevations around 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with spaced, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, ovate, acute-apiculate, apically unequally bilobed, abruptly narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an porrect to patent, peduncle to .12" [.3 cm] long, provided with 2 bracts, .4" [1 cm] long overall, single flowered inflorescence carrying not fully opening flowers.
