Found in Thailand, penninsular Malaysia and Borneo in ridge forests and in lowland and podzolic forests at elevations around 300 to 1900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with oblique to the rhizome, alternately curved to one side and the other so they appear in two rows pseudobulbs and carrying a single, erect to oblique, acute, oblanceolate leaf that blooms on a basal, peduncle .28 to .68" [.7 to 1.7 cm] long, provided with 2 scales, to .6" [1.5 cm] long overall, single flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
