Flower Size 2/5" x 1 1/5" [1 cm x 3 cm]
Found as a miniature sized, hot growing, bifoliate epiphyte in Assam, Thailand, Burma, Laos, Vietnam and Malaysia in evergreen, semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savana-like woodlands at elevations of sealevel to 800 meters with flattened at the bottom, ovate psuedobulbs 2" + apart on a woody rhizome with 2 apical, bilobed at the apex, elliptical leaves that has a basal, slender, 8 to 12" [20 to 30 cm] long inflorescence with an umbel of [5 to 10] successive opening flowers at the apex, held well above the leaves, occuring in the summer and fall.
