Common Name The Bontoc Bulbophyllum [An island of the Philippines
Flower Size .24 to .4" [.6 to 1 cm]
Found in the Philippines at elevations of 1450 to 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] between each wrinkled, pear-shaped pseudobulb carrying a single, apcial, erect, leathery, elliptic to ovate leaf that blooms in the later spring through summer on a basal and from the rhizome between the bulbs, longer than the leaf, .4 to 1.2" [1 to 3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a single, basal, bract.
