Found in penninsular Malaysia, Singapore and Sabah Borneo in lowland to hill forests at elevations of 700 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with .2" to 1/2" [.5 to 1.2 cm] between each miniscule, ovoid, not flattened pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, dark green, usually suffused with red, abruptly narrowing into the almost non-existent petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late summer on a .65" [1.6 cm] long, to 6 flowered inflorescence with faintly fetid smelling flowers
