Flower Size .8" [2 cm]

Found in New Guinea in forests at elevations around 2400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with close set, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, obtuse, narrowly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, .4" [1 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter states that the flowers are a thickly spotted with red like B pedilochilus
