Found in north and northwestern Madagascar in dry or humid, evergreen forests on plateau at elevations around 700 to 1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with .6 to 1.4" [1.5 to 3.5 cm] between each oblong pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, oblong leaves that blooms in the summer and mid fall on a basal, erect, subcapitate, short, 3 to 10 flowered inflorescence.
