Found in Sulawesi in montane forests at elevations of 1200 to 1400 meters as a mini-mniature sized, cool growing epiphtye with a pendulous, sparsely branched rhizome with .6 to 1.4" [1.5 to 3.5 between each ovoid to almost cylindrical, obtusely 4 angled pseudobulb carrying a single, thin, ovate, acute to acuminate leaf that blooms on a short, peduncle to .16 to .2" [4 to 5 mm] long, to .6" [1.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with acute floral bracts.
