Common Name The Cadetia-Like Bulbophyllum [refers to the plant?]

Flower Size 1/8" [.4 cm]

Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 1300 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with minute, oblong-cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong, minutely apiculate leaf that is shortly petiolate and blooms in the fall on an erect, 1/4" [1 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with cucullate bracts

This species and B punamense are considered to be synomonous and if so then B punamense is the correct name. I have left them separate for now pending further research.

Synonyms Diphyes cadetioides (Schltr.) Szlach. & Rutk. 2008
