Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 1300 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with minute, oblong-cylindrical psuedobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong, minutely apiculate leaf that is shortly petiolate and blooms in the spring on an erect, 1/4" [1 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with cuculate bracts
