Found in Brazil at elevations of 1000 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with close set, ovoid, tetragonal pseudodbulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, oblong-lanceolate, apiculate, conduplicate below into the base leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, erect, 10" [25 cm] long overall, rachis to 2.8 to 3.6" [7 to 9 cm] long, successively few flowered inflorescence.

CAUTION According to the only reference that I have this flower does not match the photo provided but it is an exact match for the drawing and written description. Please use with caution pending better references.
