Common Name or Meaning The Bell Like Flower Bulbophyllum
Flower Size
Found in New Guinea in lower montane forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with close set, cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, obliquely ligulate, acute cuneate below leaf that blooms in the winter on a short, provided with a few smal bracts, single flowered inflorescence with very small, much shorter than the subsessile ovary floral bracts.
Schlechter states that the flowers are dark carmine red.
