Common Name or Meaning The Canloan Mountain Bulbophyllum [A mountain on Negros Island Philippines]

Found on the island of Negros in the Philippines at 1300 to 2300 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a long creeping , very slender, wiry, with .8 to 41.6" [2 to 4 cm] between each rounded, grooved pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, nearly sessile, elliptic-oblong, entire apically, very fleshy leaf that blooms in the spring on a slender, eret, to 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a purple, carmine with yellow striped, bell shaped flowers.
