Found in southeastern Madagascar in coastal forests at elevations around sea-level to 100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with ovoid, .4 to .6" [1 to1.5 cm] between each, 4 angled pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, oblong leaves that blooms in the late spring on a basal, .6" [1.5 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence.

Similar to B minutum but this one differs in the short, few flowered inflorescence and the different shaped lip.
