Common Name The Heart Shaped Leaf Bulbophyllum

Found in Papua New Guinea in primary forests along streams at elevations around 2300 meters as a mini-miniature sized cold growing epiphyte with a pendent, flattened rhizome with .2 to .4" [.5 to 1 cm] between each cylindrical, hardly flattened pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, ovate, acuminate apically, slightly suffused with purple, cordate and shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on a single, peduncle 1.6" [4 cm] long, with ? bracts, 2.6 to 3.2" [6 to 8 cm] long overall, rachis arching to pendulous, .48 to .8" [1.2 to 2 cm] long, simultaneously 5 to 7 flowered inflorescence with elliptic, acute apically floral bracts and carrying moderately opening, cream-colored flowers with a purple blotch adaxially on the lip.
