Common Name The Snow White Bulbophyllum
Flower Size .4" x 1.2" [1 x 3 cm] wide x long
Found in western New Guinea in primary forests at elevations around 1200 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with .4" [1 cm] between each distinct, loosely clustered erect, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, obovate, acuminate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a 1 to a fascile of many, basal, peduncle .56" [1.4 cm] long, provided with 3, scales, 2.8 to 3.2" [7 to 8 cm] long overall, single flowered inflorescence with much shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying a white flower.
