Common Name The Green Blooming Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 1 5/8" [4 cm]

Found in Papua and New Guinea, Indonesia, and the Solomon Islands, hot to warm growing epiphytic species occuring in rainforest, plantations and large trees in farmlands at elevations of sealevel to 1000 meters with a creeping rhizome and pseudobulbs up to 4.4" [11 cm] apart that blooms in the winter on a basal, 6" [15 cm] long, descending, racemose, several [12] flowered inflorescence with simultaneously opening flowers that endure about a week.

Needs to be grown on a large tree fern mount as the plant rambles, given light shade, hot to cool temperatures and high humidity.
