Found in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands in rainforests at elevations around 300 to 600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with .6 to 1.4" [5 to 3 cm] between each, cylindrical, adpressed the rhizome pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong-lanceolate leaf that blooms on a basal, .2" [5 mm] long, peduncle enveloped by bracts, single flowered inflorescence.
